Constructive Conversations for Bold Transformation
If your organization, school, or business employs or serves people of color, it’s likely that your organizational structure, employees, and culture needs support in some way. I offer a variety of educational services that can be integrated into your work to further your equity and healing justice efforts.

Consulting
Through my fully customized consulting service, I can help you: assess your organizational culture; recruit and retain a diverse staff and board; and develop more effective ways to reach and serve your diverse constituency.
For example, perhaps your leadership team is looking to start an initiative or committee to support your diverse clients, staff, or partners. In these cases, you need something more integrated than a simple training. I can help you think through how you’re going to do this work and then walk alongside as a thought partner as you get it off the ground.
Together, we can look through an equity and healing justice lens as you prepare for:
Workshop Facilitation & Healing Salons
In my workshops and curation of space, I help participants unpack the complexities of identity, remove the fear of cross-cultural exchange, and gain tools for bridging cultural divides — whether related to race, gender, sexual orientation, or age. Workshops are an important process for nonprofits, businesses, educational institutions, youth organizations, and government entities.
My facilitation work is grounded in deep listening, storytelling, and honoring participants’ lived experiences. I emphasize culture-building to heal systems of oppression and build an inclusive, community-engaged environment where everyone thrives. As a skilled facilitator and convener, I bring a creative, artful, fun, passionate, and participatory style to my facilitation. I believe in bringing out the best in people so that they can participate fully in the group process while making space for the group to listen deeply and be in a sacred space with one another.
I often integrate tea stations and other herbal support into my workshops to help cleanse the space, and center and inspire participants. Alongside the herbal offerings, I also curate Healing Salons/Spaces for organizations and groups seeking deep dives into traditional healing practices. These spaces are especially supportive after natural disasters, long sprints of work that have exhausted your team, and during times of change and transformation.

I appreciated Sarah’s amazing blend of organization and creativity. Her planning and facilitation allowed our gathering to be a much easier lift for me and my team and our participants were so excited and inspired by her offerings. We created a space for connection, healing, and creativity that will inspire future gatherings for years to come!

Professional & Personal Coaching
Looking for the next step in your career, education, business, or personal life? I provide one-on-one coaching that can give you clarity and new ideas. If you have specific goals, we can figure out the steps that will get you there. If you’re searching for direction, I can help guide your journey. And if you need additional help, I can tap my extensive network to find people and resources that can support you along the way.
I’m also available for small group coaching within a larger entity, i.e. to help a group of staff members to set and work toward professional and/or personal goals. I can help both individuals and organizations to navigate equity, community engagement, personnel, planning, resource mobilization, and board and committee member issues.

Early on as a mentor you offered me an educational home that I didn't know I was seeking. My spirit yearned to be seen by my own people with education and your advice, leadership, and events helped me to experience being seen by the education system in a way that I hadn't experienced before.

Dr. Sarah Nuñez was incredibly thoughtful and organized. She listened to needs and modified her approach to support the dynamics of our audience. Students felt at ease and opened up easily to Dr. Nuñez. With faculty and staff, Dr. Nuñez was able to create a space for reflection and dialogue. Folks seemed really engaged and expressed interest in more deeper engagement around cultural wellness.
