Dr. Sarah Nuñez supports individuals and organizations on their wellness journeys through educational consulting, traditional healing practices, and herbal goods. Her passion is helping people of color and culture thrive within our institutions of learning, business, and service.

Dr. Nuñez is available to deliver consulting, coaching, workshops, and lectures to educational institutions, government offices, national organizations, conferences, learning cohorts, and corporations.

Herbal Goods & Support
In support of her educational work, Dr. Nuñez also grows her own herbs and flowers to use in her practice. She also offers locally manufactured tea bags and herb wellness bags to her clients. Sarah often uses these herbal and sewn goods in her workshops, helping participants reconnect with ancient and traditional practices that can support them in their wellness and healing journeys.
About Dr. Sarah Nuñez
Dr. Sarah Nuñez is a Latinx/e, Queer, and feminist educator, coach, facilitator, and cultural organizer with a passion for helping those seeking liberatory change. Her body of research explores how traditional healing matters in the support of Latinx students in the Nuevo Sur. Through her lived experiences, Sarah has found how this body of work also supports and applies to all communities and individuals working inside of systems who desire new ways of being.

Participants left the event feeling equipped and inspired to incorporate herbal remedies into their grief management journeys! Firefly Gathering | Creating Ecosystems of Community Care | July 10th - 13th Green Mountain, NC Sarah Nuñez (Herbalist) and Mary BP (Acupuncturist) brought their powerful wisdom to Firefly Gathering, sharing how they've woven community care into their networks and nurtured mutual aid over the years. Through movement, storytelling, and lively discussions on cultural organizing and healing justice, participants dove into practical tools for building resilient mutual aid networks that can weather any storm. The session blended personal narratives with actionable strategies, leaving everyone inspired and equipped to strengthen the communities they serve. Fuerte Class: Nutritive Herbs for Strength @ Amerihealth Caritas of WNC| July 16th We had a wonderful time exploring plant medicine with community members at Amerihealth! We created nourishing broths, colorful summer salads with edible flowers, herbal dressings, and our signature Fuerte Tea while learning how everyday herbs can support our wellness. Everyone left with sample herbs and recipes to continue their herbal journey at home! ✨🌿 NNAF Regional Gathering 2025 About two weeks ago, our crew traveled to Denver to show up for abortion fund workers with love and care. The Corazon 7 team cultivated a Healing Sanctuary space—a space where folks could slow down, breathe, and come back into their bodies. Participants moved gently through six stations, each crafted with intention for this gathering:
Our Approach to Gatherings We are the balm. We support folks so they can support themselves. We practice grief. The entire space becomes an altar, and people leave with medicine they can carry forward. Each gathering we co-create is designed specifically for the community and moment we're serving—honoring what's needed, what's sacred, and what will sustain the work. Calma Té Class: Herbs for Calming & Stress @ AmeriHealth Caritas of WNC | October 7th We had a beautiful time exploring calming plant medicine with community members at AmeriHealth! Participants experienced soothing foot baths, pain-relieving compresses, and hands-on learning about herbs that support peace and relaxation. Everyone left with sample herbs and our signature Calma Té to continue their wellness journey at home! ✨ |
